Getting your Data into SaaSGrid

Follow the steps below to set up SaaSGrid with your data.

1. Link your Accounts
  • In the Linked Accounts tab, select any Integrations you want to connect to SaaSGrid. Each Integration has its own syncing process, such as providing an API key or redirecting you to its log-in page.
2. Set up your Data Sources
3. Review any Issues (only available for linked integrations)
      • In the Issues tab of your new Data Source, look over Warnings or Errors SaaSGrid identified while pulling in your data.
      • SaaSGrid will report issues for your Stripe, HubSpot, and Salesforce integrations.
4. Create a Workspace & connect your Data Sources
      • In your Home page, create a Workspace and connect your new Data Source(s). A Workspace will remain empty until a Data Source is connected to it.
5. Create Charts, Reports, and Plans to populate your Dashboards!
    • Charts, Reports, and Plans are the building blocks to visualizing your data on SaaSGrid. Learn how to build them here.

If you have any questions during set-up, email us at support@saasgrid.com or live chat with us in the product! Additional resources for onboarding include the rest of our Help Center as well as our Metrics Library.

Navigating SaaSGrid

Within a Workspace, Charts, Reports, and Plans are organized into collections called Dashboards. You can add, remove, and reorder your visualizations with the “Edit” button.

From the side, you can also drag and drop a Chart, Report, or Plan into a Dashboard.

Each figure can be resized or renamed by selecting its three-dot menu. For Charts, you can also customize how Metrics are displayed using “Configure Overview”. This includes how the overview numbers are aggregated, the number of periods for the growth rate (if included), and which Metric will be the Chart’s Primary Metric.

To make changes to a Chart, Report, or Plan, you must go directly to the figure. Any changes made will reflect across all Dashboards.
