Revenue Recognition

Grid can recognize revenue in several methods. For all revenue metrics, revenue can be recognized on a ratable basis, a monthly basis excluding the last month, or daily.

Ratable: Revenue is recognized on a daily basis. Revenue will be prorated for partial months. This is the default revenue recognition method.

Last Month Exclusive: Revenue is recognized monthly. For subscriptions, this will indicate the MRR.

Daily: The contract value is divided by the total number of days in the contract, and each month has revenue recognized based on the number of days in the month.
